WRITING ABOUT MOVIES is a vocation, most say, of a cult. That’s about the only explanation why one of sound mind would willingly partake in such a way of life. It’s blind faith and fanaticism to devote any considerable chunk of one’s waking life on earth.
And sorry to spring this weirdly tender lead on you, but that’s me drinking the Kool-Aid — a writer (edit: incessant yapper) about movies. Bylines include Rappler, Screen Anarchy, SineScreen, CBR.com, and more. If you’re looking to get my work published, I’m currently open for writing commissions and assignments. Shoot me an email here.
I run the Unreel website, a space built for candid discussions on cinema in the Philippines, where I’m from. I also run the Substack newsletter, Deep Cuts, which is envisioned to house written and video deep-dives on horror movies.
Outside of my five-to-nine, I work in digital marketing and advertising, under my conversion copywriting practice.
